Programs and Activities

With over 35 activities offered to our campers, every day is a little bit different and a lot more exciting! Each group, whether in Junior Camp, Girls Camp, or Boys Camp has a program specifically designed to meet the age and needs of its campers. SLDC offers a 7 period day consisting of 2 swim periods with Instructional Swim every morning and a General Swim every afternoon, a delicious and nutritious lunch, and four other periods of the day consisting of a perfect balance of sports, arts and adventure. This gives your child the flexibility to pursue activities he or she enjoys and experience new activities as well!

Along with regularly scheduled daily activities, there is an option program for campers entering 3rd grade and up. These campers select an option activity from the vast list of activities available, which they will do each day for a one week period. So if your camper has a new love for fishing or a passion for ziplining every day, the Option period gives him/her the opportunity to enjoy that specialty area even more! All specialty areas are led by professional instructors with training in their particular activity.

All campers partake in our weekly special events including entertaining shows, carnivals, theme days, Olympic events and much more! Every day is an adventure at SLDC!
